The Superfood with so many soothing properties for digestion …

Also known as Zingiber officinale, this root is full of benefits for the body. Although it has been used for centuries to treat digestive discomfort, inflammation, and nausea, it’s chemical profile has only been scientifically studied more recently. There are many studies on the effectiveness of ginger for cough relief (which is great since most antitussives on the market do not actually work well), reducing chemotherapy and pregnancy induced nausea, and alleviating joint pain.

Ginger is most effective when juiced or powdered for tea but the essential oil has proven to be extremely effective in topical applications amongst my clients who suffer from joint pain.
